ESCAPE ROOM DESIGN
Our journey started with Escape Rooms. Chris played his first Escape Room in London in 2012 and liked the concept, but knew with the right team he could turn a good concept into a great experience. In 2013 Chris formed a team of experts from the movie and theme park industry and created their first Escape Games: Go West and Beast Of Berlin.
The key elements of our game room design are high quality, highly detailed, and time period correct set design. Puzzles have to be part of the storyline and make sense in their context. Any Tech has to be behind the scenes and the hint system should be as much “invisible” as possible. All our games feature amazing sound design, high quality sound systems, and procedural audio, where the music and sound effects react to the behaviour of the players.
“the first escape rooms we ever created”
Go West and Beast Of Berlin were the very first Escape Rooms we designed in 2013. Both with a very high quality set build. The puzzles were classic, but already part of the storytelling. Both games were updated over last years, where we implemented new software and “invisible” hint systems.
“an escape room travelling the seas”
In 2018 we designed and built an Escape Room called “James Cook’s Last Journey” on the cruise ship AIDAnova. It is a high quality Escape Room with great attention to detail and time period correct set design and electronically automated puzzles. All puzzles are related to the storyline and despite being full of modern technology, have the look and feel of old mechanisms.
The game features an extensive sound design and a full soundtrack which reacts on the players actions (procedural audio).
